widgets wot are they?

This screen cast of how to install widgets is really easy to follow. Beth explains what they are, their differences, how you might use them and how to install them. They are easy to use and let you add different types of content to your blog or website. I'm going to put it Beth's claim to the test and see if I can install a widget that will let me run a poll!

Hi Wen
I like Curly, though I haven't watched the soap for years.
Care to vote on my blog too?

Hi William,
I have done…hey you’ve a flashy celeb look alike too. Very impressed! In response to your latest posting- I’m a bit like yourself about feeling pressure that I ought to blog and get out there more. I got really excited recently after spending hours finding out how to do stuff, and I must confess to wondering if I’m spending too much time getting to grips with my blog. On the other hand, I can see it has great potential for passing on information and could help people to learn. My blog is very much a hotch-potch and I’m not sure where it’s leading, or how I will carry on with it. I have come across some great contacts and information, which I don’t think I could have found by using the traditional tools. I guess I’m being selective with what I choose to use and do feel like I have to work at 100k’s an hour sometimes. However, we are the one’s in control of what we do and how much time we spend on this new stuff. I’m wondering if in a few months time I will have found things quicker and easier to use. I ‘m also aware that I’m beginning to think slightly differently. There is some sort of learning shift happening with me. I can’t really explain this very well…hope you get my gist. I do think there is room for a blending of the traditional ways of learning with the new tools. It’s just getting the mix right. I would have posted this on your blog, but couldn’t see a comment link to this particular subject.

Cheery
